Do not assume the take is broken
Multiple files by themselves are not proof of dropped frames, a failed recording, or a damaged card. First establish whether the files are consecutive parts of the same recording.
Short answer: a long DJI recording can be stored as several consecutive MP4 files even when it represents one continuous take.
A DJI Osmo Pocket 4 / 4P long recording may appear in the card or folder as multiple consecutive MP4 files. Those files can belong to the same continuous recording even though the camera stored them separately.
Multiple files by themselves are not proof of dropped frames, a failed recording, or a damaged card. First establish whether the files are consecutive parts of the same recording.
Editors often want one continuous asset for a long take. Repeated split boundaries create extra handling, especially for archiving, relinking, transfer, or downstream editing.
RTM. analyzes the selected DJI recording sequence, identifies files that belong to the same continuous take, and creates a separate merged output. The original camera files remain unchanged.
RTM. does not solve the split by transcoding the video into a new generation.
The camera originals remain as they were. RTM. creates a separate result instead of rewriting them.
The workflow is intentionally narrow: identify a continuous DJI recording and restore it as one file when the sequence passes RTM.'s verification.
